Project I SURGICAL SUITE Renovation of a 1960’s labor & delivery wing into a 12,000 s.f. out-patient pre and post operative care facility. Provided new nurses station, accessible toilet rooms, (8) patient rooms, clean and soiled Utility rooms, linen room, women's surgical change room, pre-op assessment room, scheduling, reception and waiting areas.  Included upgrading of building core electrical and HVAC systems. Project reviewed and approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Completed May, 2000 - Construction Cost - $700,00 PACU RENOVATION New 3 bed Recovery Room renovated from former Operating room. Project reviewed and approved by the PA Department of Health. Completed: July, 1998 - Construction Cost: $270,000   Project II       ADMINISTRATION Renovate abandoned 1,500 s.f. of 1902 laundry facility into new Administrative Office and Conference Room for adminstrative space, including offices for CEO, Executive Secretary, and Board of Directors. Completion : November, 2000 - Construction Cost: $125,000 Project III OUTPATIENT SURGERY Renovation of former Labor & Delivery wing into 12,000 s.f. Outpatient Pre and Post Operative Care Facility. Provide new Nurses Station, new accessible toilet rooms, (7) private patient rooms, Clean and Soiled Utility rooms, Physicians Offices, Anesthesiologiest Office, Linen room, Pre-Op Assessment room, and Casting room. WAITING AREA Provide new 1,600 s.f. Out-Patient Surgery waiting are with Receptionist room. Airlock vestibule, women's and men's rooms, and entry canopy. Completion: May, 2000 - Construction Cost: $700,000 Project IV   ENDOSCOPY SUITE Renovation of a former 650 s.f. storage are suite into an endoscopy suite with a procedure room, scrub room, clean instrument room and storage space. Completion: May, 2002 - Construction Cost: $40,000. Project V    PHYSICIANS OFFICE New construction for 3,000 s.f. to provide Outpatient Physician practice area with (10) Outpatient exam rooms, Consulting offices, Nurse's station, Reception and Waiting rooms.    HOSPITAL'S SERVICES 2,500 s.f. of new construction for Loading dock, Receiving, Storage, Soiled Linen Holding, and CT Darkroom.     PHYSICAL THERAPY FACILITY RENOVATIONS Renovations to the existing 2,000 s.f. facility, including a new covered entrance, code improvements, and accessibility improvements.     OFFICE CONVERSION Renovation of a former house adjacent to the hospital to provide office space for hospital administrators. Work to include renovation of existing space to provide offices and conferance rooms. New construction of handicap accessible link, corridor/ramp. Completion: December, 2001 - Construction Cost: $525,000 Project VI MRI PRELIMINARY DESIGN Schematic design for proposed 1,000 s.f. MRI Facility for 1.5 tesla magnet. Areas include magnet room, control room, equipment, storage, change room, toilet room and waiting areas.  Estimated Completion: December, 2002 - Construction Cost: $500,000.   Project VII OUTPATIENT ORTHO-SURGICAL OFFICES Renovation of 3,000 s.f. to provide exam rooms, nurses station, waiting area, business office, and physician's office for outpatient use of Orthopedic Surgery Practice, within hospital building. RADIATION FILM STORAGE Renovation of existing equipment storage area into space for high density storage of radiological film records. Completion: April, 2002 -  Construction Cost: $160,000 Project VIII GERIATRIC PSYCHIATRY DEPARTMENT Renovation of 3,400 s.f. patient bed area into Geriatric Psychiatry Department. Estimated Completion: October, 2002 - Estimated Construction Cost: $150,000. FACILITY WIDE SMOKE COMPARTMENT STUDY Building wide study of DOH and local code requirements of egress and smoke compartment separation. Necessary construction to be undertaken with subsequent work.
