Renovation of existing 4,000 s.f. dining room in College Center. Renovations included dining room, serving line, and new "Starbuck's" type coffee bar. Project involved new finishes, custom casework, custom wall paneling and upgrades to mechanical and electrical systems. Completed July 1998 - Construction cost $150,000.

 

 

 

Renovation of 97,000 s.f of existing Pfeiffer Science Center and addition of 6,000 s.f.  Completed building contains Geoscience, Physics, Astronomy, and Chemistry Departments. Renovation includes reorganization of room layouts and new finishes. Extensive modernization of building systems, replacement of majority of HVAC systems and controls. New sprinkler system and building-wide communication/data system. Spaces include classrooms, faculty laboratories, faculty offices, computer labs, cartography labs, specialized department labs, roof-top obeservation deck w/telescope mounts. Completed September 1997 - Construction cost $10 million.

   

Schematic Design studies to renovate Goethean Hall, which houses the Government Department. Studies to determine the scope of the project, faculty priorities, and construction budgets for various design alternatives.  Design studies in progress.

Renovation to former dormitory building into faculty offices and small teaching spaces for Music, Theatre, Dance and Film Departments. Renovations include new finishes and changes to meet current building codes. Space planning to reuse furniture being relocated from several buildings to Meyran Hall. Design in progress.

 
 

Renovation of existing 7,000 square foot basement level field house to create four new international standard squash courts with spectator gallery. Renovations also included lobby, restrooms, and handicap accessibility. Construction documents in progress. Estimated construction cost $1.2 million.
